Wayne E. Bradford, loving husband of 30 years to Carol S. Bradford completed his earthly journey on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was the son of Glen L. Bradford and Eulala L. Heist-Bradford, born in San Fernando, CA on September 20, 1958. Wayne grew up in Redding and Merced before settling with his family in Fresno. He enjoyed all sports but played baseball for city league teams throughout his youth. He graduated from Hoover High School in 1976. Wayne met Carol after being introduced by his brother, Merle, and Curtis McQueen. It was a whirlwind romance, they both “just knew” they were meant for each other. They married on November 10, 1990. Over the next 30 years the couple raised their three children in Lindsay, CA nurturing them in the love of Christ as active members of Lindsay Christian Church. Wayne was a willing Christian servant assisting in many aspects throughout his years at the church; VBS, potlucks, operating the sound system for worship, funerals, and weddings. He had the great pleasure of baptizing his own children when they made decisions for Christ and even a few other new believers when Pastor Paul was having back trouble.
Wayne's family will miss him very much but remember fondly all the support and love he gave them over the years. He is survived by his wife, Carol, son Cody Wayne, daughters Brooke Suzanne and Audrey Irene; brother Merle & his wife Paulette, their children and families: Gina & James Ornelas & family and Sheri & Johnny Marotta. Also, his sister Glenda & her husband Dean Christensen, their children and families: Evan & Brittany Christensen & family, Lindsey & Nick Brewer & family. And Carol's brother Guy (Chris) Clements; and mother Hazel McQueen.
Private family Services will be held at Webb Sanders & Smith Funeral Home on Monday, December 21, 2020 with public grave side service at Lindsay/Strathmore Cemetery, 639 S. Foothill, Lindsay CA at 1:00 pm. Masks are required, bring your own chair if you would like to sit during the service.
