Teresa L. Lekoff-Yost

A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 2 at 3:00 P.M. at Faith Tabernacle Church in Exeter for Teresa Lekoff-Yost who passed away on June 28th, 2021 at the age of 69.
Teresa was born April 25, 1952 in Portage La Prairie Canada, to Roger Lowell and Joanna Lee Black.
Teresa is survived by her sons Ryan Meyers and Aaron Lekoff, Sister Connie and Husband Larry Hoverman of Van Wert Ohio, brother Roy Black (deceased,) Sister Penny and Husband Charles Wise of Peru Indiana, Brother Anthony (Gib) Black (deceased,) Brother Blair and Wife Esmeralda Grubbs of Los Angeles California, grandchildren; Audrey Morales, Isabella Beeman, Peyton Lekoff, Wyatt Meyers, Christopher Lekoff, Macy Meyers and Emma Lekoff as well as nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by Husband Reginald (Chip) Yost.
Teresa grew up in Peru, Indiana where she attended Peru High School. Once she graduated, she made her way to Southern California where she worked as a bank teller. She then moved to Central California where she began her career with Tulare County as an Eligibility Worker, she later became a Social Worker, then a Child Welfare Services Supervisor. She spent 27 years working for Tulare County. Once retired, she then went to work at Koinonia Family Services.

Teresa was a kind, loving, generous person who lived her life helping others. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of Exeter.  Her faith defined who she was.
