Pauline Iriye

Our mother, Pauline also known as Paulita (Sandoval) Iriye, has gone to be with our Heavenly Father after suddenly passed away on November 23, 2025.  Pauline was born on December 25, 1938, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Atanacio Jr and Rosalia Sandoval and came to California in 1955. She married John Masakazu Iriye December 25, 1962, in Lindsay, CA.

She worked for many years packing fruits and vegetables for our Dad, Imoto Farms and Suntreat Growers in the Lindsay-Strathmore area. She loved cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with her family. She also loved her plants, working on word searches and watching Hallmark movies with kids and grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded by in death; her husband John Masakazu Iriye; son Henry Iriye; her parents Atanacio Sandoval Jr and Rosalia Sandoval; brothers Florenio, Ruben, Jimmy and Larry Sandoval; sister Rosita Arguelles.

She is survived by her sons Herman and Robert Iriye (Grace); daughters Carol (Iriye) Ernst (Russell), Jeannie Iriye-Meade (Bruce), Deborah Iriye-Correa (Leo Jr), and Terri (Iriye) Langdon (Richard); grandchildren Jessika, Michael (Erika), Bryan (Jessica), Christopher (Jessica), Joshua, Joseph, and Rosalia Iriye; great grandchildren Mike, Nathaniel, and Judah Iriye; brothers Raymond, Leroy, Ernest, Rudy, and Jerry Sandoval; sisters Lila Flores, Liz Ott, Martha Rodriguez, Marcella Garza, and Victoria Sandoval and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Webb-Sanders Funeral Home in Lindsay CA on Tuesday, December 2 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Celebration of Life will be held at Webb-Sanders Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:00am, Lindsay; A Graveside Service will follow service at the Lindsay Strathmore Public Cemetery.
