It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Olivia Gutierrez. Olivia passed on April 2, 2025 as a result of dementia. During this challenging time of her life she was able to enjoy the comfort of her home. Her courage, strength and humorous wit was a blessing to those around her. Olivia was born and raised in Lindsay where she lived all of her life. She met her husband Al Gutierrez when they were children and for a time lived in the same neighborhood. They were married in 1955 and together raised a small family. Olivia was a natural homemaker and loved her family very much. She was a generous and giving woman with a beautiful loving smile and warm heart. She assisted in helping raise many children while babysitting and was well trusted to take care of those in need which she did with gladness. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Zike (Jon) and son, Larry Gutierrez. Granddaughters Justine Zike, Melissa Salais (Johnny) and Jacqueline Evans, honorary grandchildren Allison, Kyler and Aaron Zike along with six great grandchildren. Sisters Mary Banuelos, Candy Sanchez (Johnny), Rosie Benitez and Francis Villarreal (Albert) and numerous nieces and nephews. Our lives will never be the same without our dear mother/ grandma, Olivia. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her and the many whose lives she touched.
