Marilyn Hahnle Obituary

Marilyn Joyce (Stockdale) Hahnle born August 30, 1929 in Oakland, California to Merle and Agnes Stockdale, passed-away December 5, 2020 at Kaweah Manor in Visalia, California at the age of 91.

Marilyn was a resident of Lindsay for over 50 years.  She married Gordon Hahnle on June 3, 1950.  The couple had two children, Ross and Wendy.  Marilyn worked for Harold Gisvold CPA and later for Dennis Hilton CPA until her retirement in 1997.  As an active member of the Lindsay Christian Church, Marilyn loved volunteering at the church’s Thrift Store where she touched so many lives.

 Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Gordon, son Ross, sister Barbara Stockdale, and her parents Merle and Agnes Stockdale.  She is survived by her daughter Wendy Bowers, son-in-law Mike Bowers of Kansas, and grandson Michael Leland Bowers of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Graveside inurnment services will be held Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery.
