Maria Esther has been reunited with her parents and son Sergio Aguilar and Grandson Jeremiah Samuel Longoria on the road once traveled together.
Esther, age 88, of Lindsay California was born in the coastal state of Colima, Mexico in 1933 and migrated to San Diego during the 1950s where she met her soulmate, Sam Longoria Sr.
In 1966 the couple and their children moved to Central California and fell in love with the Agricultural lifestyle and the community of Lindsay.
Esther worked in the Agricultural Industry for over 43 years and raised (8) Eight children with Perseverance, Grit, Unconditional Love and a firm hand in the dual role of the Mother and Father when circumstances within the family dynamic required it.
From the (8) Eight children Esther would share how they blessed her life with 24 Grandchildren 25 Great-Grandchildren and fed 100s of kids that were associated with her own, always giving out life advice, some direction, and even a lecture or a stern word… “out of love, of course”
Needless to say, everyone knew Esther as Doña Martha, or the Lady you didn’t talk back to.
Esther read her bible every morning for an hour or longer and every evening for an hour or longer, this stemmed from a promise she made to God in the mid 1960s and she kept that promise for 55 years and 132 days.
Esther was a cheerful giver who tithed monthly without fail and modeled a life based on faith above cash, material things or selfishness.
