Kristy Lynn Avila

We are extremely saddened to announce the passing of Kristy Lynn Avila-Johnson, a beloved mother and wife. Kristy passed away on April 5, 2025, in Visalia California. She was born to Pamela and Jorge Avila on April 15 1980 in Tulare California. She attended school in Tulare ultimately graduating from Tulare Western High School. Kristy was constantly wanting to grow and learn more, enrolling herself in college and studying at Colorado Technical University. She worked in Technical Accounting before her passing. Kristy is survived by her husband Roderick Johnson, six children; Jade Ochoa, Chloe Avila, Andres Barajas, Isabella Avila, Zayna Johnson, and Ashley Johnson. Seven grandchildren; Hayden, Amari, Reign, Aaliyah, Harlei, Everleigh, and Zayden. One God son, Urijah Moscorro. Also survived by her father and stepmother Jorge and Sharon Avila, sister and brother Janice Sanchez and Gabe Avila, and many others who will never forget the love and laughter she brought to their lives. Kristy was a source of endless laughter and love to her loved ones and touched so many people's lives with her spirit, Kristy was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed the most offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She will forever be remembered for her infectious sense of humor. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory on April 16 2025 at Webb Sanders Funeral Home in Lindsay California from 3-7 pm.
