Judythe ‘Judie’ Brown passed away peacefully at her Fresno, Ca home on January 16, 2026. She was 85. Ms. Brown was a retired Senior Escrow Officer with nearly five decades of experience in a field she dearly loved. She was an experienced world traveler, a dedicated supporter of Fresno State Football, and a long-standing participant in both the City of Fresno Kochi Japan Sister City Program and the Kiwanis Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents Yosh and Nellie Imoto of Lindsay, CA, her son Rick Brown of Lindsay, CA and her sister Kay Hoover of Honolulu, HI.
She is survived by her brother Ken (Carolyn) Imoto of Fruitland Park, FL; her daughter Melinda Ybarra of Fresno, CA; her grandchildren Jacqueline Ybarra of Fresno, CA, Michael Ybarra of Fresno, CA, Alexandra Fuentes of Fresno, CA; Great-grandchildren Aaliyah Iniguez-Ybarra of Fresno, Genevieve Alvarez of Fresno, CA as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her hometown of Lindsay California on February 10, 2026, at the Webb Sanders & Smith Funeral Home located at 163 S. Mirage Avenue, Lindsay CA 93247. The viewing will begin at 9:30 am, followed by services starting at 11:00 am.
