Hugh Morris Olson

Hugh Morris Olson, born May 14, 1931 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Harry and Florence Olson, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 in Lindsay, California at the age of 93.

Hugh proudly served his country during the Korean War, dedicating four years to the United States Navy. During his last year of service, while stationed at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, California, he met the love of his life, Claudia. Their love blossomed, and they were married for 55 beautiful years until the Lord called Claudia home.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his beloved wife, Claudia. He leaves behind his son David (Tami), and his daughters, Bobbie (Steve) and Paula (Monty), five granddaughters, Stephanie, Melissa, Valerie, Rebecca and Sarah, three grandsons Jacob, Connor and Cameron as well as eight great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.

Hugh will be remembered for his steadfast love, his service to his country, and his deep devotion to God, his family and his community. All who knew him will dearly miss him.
