Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Porterville Church of the Nazarene "Port Naz" in the Sequoia Room for Darren Burgdorf, 67 of Lindsay who passed away May 16, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28 from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Webb Sanders & Smith Funeral Home.

Darren was born November 13, 1958 in Lindsay to Gene and June Burgdorf and was raised and attended local schools. He worked as a Water Systems Operator for the irrigation district Lower Tule. He loved worshipping the Lord, spending time with his 6 grandchildren, camping, riding his motorcycle with his clean and sober friends. He also like fixing anything that was broken and would always strive to make his and Wanda's life together better. They enjoyed a storybook marriage Darren was loved by so many.

Darren was preceded in death by his parents Gene and June Burgdorf and by a sister Melinda Hosfeldt. He is survived by his wife Wanda Burgdorf; stepsons: Eli (Stephanie) McClain, Jake (Alicia) McClain, his brother Brian (Debbie) Burgdorf; 6 grandchildren Morgan, Mitchell, Lyndsey, Paytin, Cody and Ryder McClain; his neice Brianna (Garrett) Thomas; Nephews Grant (Natasha) Burgdorf, Cale (Megan) Hosfeldt, Brent (Lovey) Hosfeldt as well as many extended family including his sister-in-law Renee McCoy.
