Services will be held Friday, December 20th at 1030am at the Lindsay Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for Cora Diaz who was born January 15th, 1947 and died, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on November 28th, 2024. Jerry Powers will be the memorial speaker. Cora was loved by all who knew her. Beloved grandmother, mother, aunt, and spiritual and physical sister. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, profound love for her grandchildren, and years working as a beautician in her local community. Cora was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and her strong faith in Jehovah's promise of a resurrection in an earthly paradise is what makes our loss easier to bear. (John 5:28, 29 Pslm 37:11) Cora was preceded in death by her husband Edward Diaz, one daughter Natalie Diaz Salazar, her father Zacarias Sandoval, one brother David Sandoval, and two sisters Celestine Bastardo and Beatrice Sandoval. She is survived by her mother Consuelo Sandoval, a daughter Andrea Jones of Porterville, six grandchildren, one brother, five sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
