Concepcion Santos C. Felix

Mrs. Concepcion “Concha” Chavarin Felix was born on December 8, 1929 in Nayarit Mexico to Maria Santos & Ricardo Chavarin. Concepcion was called to her eternal home Sunday February 19, 2023.

Concepcion worked as a farm-labor and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. In 1950 she met her love Benito Felix; and they were married that same year. In 1956 they moved to McFarland California from El Paso, Texas. In 1956 they made there life in Lindsay California raising there seven children. Concepcion loved to cook and was well known in town for her pork and chile cheese jalapeño Tamales. She enjoyed her family gatherings and Holidays.

Concepcion is preceded in death by her beloved husband Benito Felix, son Richard Felix, daughter Regina “Gino” Renteria, and grandson Ruben Anthony Tirado Jr. Surviving are her children, Gloria Esquivel, Juan Felix, Yolanda Tirado, Rosemary Canaba, Carlos Felix; also like a mother to Adriana Hernandez. She was a proud grandmother of 16 surviving grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

A Public Viewing will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm at Webb Sanders Funeral Home 163 S Mirage Lindsay CA 93247, with a recitation of the Rosary to follow at 6pm.

Burial Mass will be will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, 9:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Following an interment of her body at Lindsay Cemetery immediately thereafter.
