Celia Irene Dudley

OCEANSIDE, CA – Celia Irene Dudley, 87, of Oceanside passed away at her home on Monday, February 17, 2025. Celia was born on September 18, 1937, in Lindsay, California to Ed and Eda Webb. She graduated from Lindsay High School. Celia attended the University of Redlands and later received her master’s degree in education from Stanford University.

While attending Stanford she met the love of her life, Ralph Dudley. They were married on June 24, 1961 in Lindsay, CA, and were blessed to be married 64 years before Ralph’s passing in 2017. The were also blessed to have 3 children and 10 grandchildren.

Celia was an elementary and special education teacher. She taught for many years at Oak Knoll elementary school in Menlo Park, CA.

Celia enjoyed antiquing, card games, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by Children, Walter Dudley (Tami), Edie Dudley, and Randy Dudley (Laura); Grandchildren Tyler, Travis, David, Dudley, Jack, Emma, Nathan, Zach, Preston, and Nolan; Sister Wanda English

Graveside service to held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:30am at Lindsay Strathmore Cemetery, 639 South Foothill Ave. CA 93247.
