Carolyn Leah Deffenbaugh

Carolyn Leah Deffenbaugh, age 72, passed from this life peacefully on 2 September 2025, in Lindsay, California with her husband Phil at her side. Carolyn was born on 27 March 1948 in Porterville, California.  She lived her entire life in Tulare County and touched the lives of countless family members, friends, and students.  She retired from Lindsay Unified Schools as a Special Education Aide.

Carolyn was beloved and preceded in death by her first husband Marvin Reser, and for the last 41 years by her husband Phil Deffenbaugh. She was also proceeded in death by her loving mother Vallie Hogue and sister Sharon Urquhart. She is survived by her sister Cathy Morgan.

Carolyn was a devoted mother to Ronald Gene Reser of Raleigh, North Carolina and Brian Gene Reser of Lindsay, California.  She cherished her grandchildren, Dakota Reser, Quentin Reser, Zoe Reser, Ashtyn Reser, Logan Reser and Raegan Reser. She loved life and her warmth, kindness and enduring spirit touched all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held Friday, 12 September 2025 at 1100 at the Lindsay cemetery.
