Arthur "tio Art" Pedroza went to be with our Lord on Wednesday November 13th 2024. Surrounded by his loving family at his bedside. Art was born in Laredo Texas on September 16 1957 to parents Amado and Maria Pedroza. The family moved to Porterville in 1962, where Amado and Maria raised their 7 children. Art attended Porterville high and Citrus High schools. Art met Rosie Contreras in 1978, while cruising his car at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia. Cars were his first love. They married on November 29th, 1980. Art and Rosie welcomed their first son, Vincent in 1983. Followed by second son, Christopher in 1984. The family was complete by the birth of their daughter Ashley in 1990. Art worked as a forklift driver for many years for SunTreat Growers and Shippers, SunTreat Lemon Growers and CCPI all in Lindsay. He was most proud of graduating from San Joaquin Valley college for truck driving. He went to work for Jack Griggs Propane until 2005. Art loved the outdoors, fishing and camping, Pismo beach , Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. Many family trips to Balch Park, Pismo Beach and Dodger Stadium are the memories which we will most cherish. Art was the life of the party, he enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He always made everyone feel welcomed and like family. He was everyone's Uncle. Art is preceded in death by parents Amado and Maria, brother Luis Valdez, sisters, Martha Vergara, Olga Pedroza Zamora and best friend and brother in-law Tony Zamora . Art is survived by wife Rosie , sons Vincent (Pearl) Pedroza and Christopher (Vanessa) Pedroza and daughter Ashley Pedroza De la Torre (Julio). Grandchildren: Ciera Pedroza, Vincent Pedroza Jr, Victoria Pedroza, Vivian Pedroza, Mia Pedroza, Santana De la Torre and Kayson De la Torre. Brothers: Amado (Mila) Pedroza, Frank Pedroza, Rudy (Charlene) Pedroza, Mickey (Jennifer) Pedroza and sister: Candy Pedroza Vasquez (Manuel). Many nephews and nieces .
