Angelina Lopez Hernandez, a devout Christian, returned to God on June 15, 2025. Angelina, who was known as Angie to family and friends, was born, December 22, 1936, in Tulare, California, to Jesus and Josefina Lopez. Angie attended elementary school and junior high school in Tulare. She graduated from Tulare High School in 1954. Angie married Tony Hernandez, together they managed the Orange Belt Grocery Store for many years. Angie did not shy away from hard work, as she held various jobs to keep busy and it gave her an opportunity to meet people in the community. Angie was a devoted Christian, who treasured reading her Bible, enjoyed attending weekly Bible Study, and praying for others in need. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Lindsay and took comfort in knowing the Lord was always watching over her. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Josefina Lopez, her brothers; Joe, Ernest, Manuel, Fred, and her sister Virginia. She is survived by her sister Alice and many nieces and nephews.
