Anastacio (Tacho) Padilla Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Anastacio Padilla, who left this world peacefully in his home in Lindsay, California. Born in Jalisco, Mexico, and raised in Woodlake, California, Anastacio was a man of unwavering strength and dedication, whose life was a testament to being a proud American, hard work, and love for his family.

Anastacio Padilla was a man deeply respected in his community, known for his unwavering dedication and pride in his work as a field contractor. He took immense pride in the home he built for his family, a symbol of his hard work and devotion. His commitment to providing for his loved ones was evident in all he did, and he found joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly in the beauty of his cherished property where he passed away. Beyond his achievements, Anastacio was a pillar of generosity and strength, offering more than material support but also wisdom, steadfast presence, and protection. He shaped the lives of all who had the privilege of calling him Dad, leaving a legacy of love and guidance.

Anastacio was a loving father to his children, David Padilla, Eleanor Padilla Chavez, Augustine Padilla, and Reina Padilla-Rice. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters, a brother, and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his sons Louis Padilla and Michael Padilla, his beloved grandchild Lazarus Padilla, his brothers Alfred and Daniel Padilla, and his mother, Augustina Padilla, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

As we remember Anastacio, we celebrate a life filled with hard work, determination, and love. He is deeply missed and will be cherished by his family and friends. In our hearts, he will continue to live on, guiding us with the lessons he imparted and the love he shared.

Rest in peace, Dad. Your legacy of love will forever be a part of us
