Luis Manuel Reynoso

The Holy Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 P.M. at Webb Sanders & Smith Funeral Home and Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, March 1 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Luis Manuel Reynoso, 65 of Strathmore who passed away February 19. The Reverend Kenneth Bozzo will officiate and interment will follow the Mass service at Lindsay Cemetery. 

Luis was born March 30, 1953 in Exeter to Manuel and Maria Socorro Reynoso and was raised and attended schools in Lindsay graduating from Lindsay High School with the Class of 1971. He worked for many years as a farm labor contractor and also enjoyed doing “handyman” work. He enjoyed building things and creating with his hands. If you imagined it he would build it. With adding his own extra touches. Luis also loved spending time with his friends and family. He was known for his kind heart and always giving to others. If he knew he had it, he wouldn’t give it a second thought. Luis was also a very simple man that really didn’t need much. He made contracts on “your word”. He would say,”what’s fair is fair”. Aside all that he was very funny man. Luis had a very outgoing personality. He always had someone either blushing or laughing. Luis was preceded in death by his father Manuel Reynoso. He is survived by his mother Socorro Reynoso of Lindsay; his daughters Monique Hernandez of Mojave; Christina Luis Thompson of Spain and Vanessa Reynoso of Visalia; his stepdaughters Ericka Holguin of Bakersfield; Marissa Acevedo of Yuba City and Sonia Dickerson of San Diego; his brothers Jaime Reynoso of Porterville and Edward Reynoso of Lindsay  his sisters Hortencia Aguilera of strathmore and Olga Duran of strathmore 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M. Condolences may be made to the family at www.webbsandersandsmithfh.com
